কোনো ঘটনা বা তথ্য কাউকে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে জানানো বা অবহিত করা। সাধারণত অফিস, প্রতিষ্ঠান বা আইনি প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

'Notify' আরও আনুষ্ঠানিক। যেমন 'notify someone of/about something', 'notify someone that...' বা 'you will be notified' গুলো ফরমাল পরিস্থিতিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। অফিস, স্কুল বা অ্যাপে সাধারণ।
