یہ 'نہیں' کہنے کا بہت غیر رسمی انداز ہے، عموماً دوستوں یا قریبی لوگوں میں استعمال ہوتا ہے۔

Usage Notes (Urdu)

صرف دوستوں یا غیر رسمی گفتگو میں 'نہیں' اس انداز میں کہیں۔ دفاتر یا بزرگوں سے بات کرتے ہوئے استعمال نہ کریں۔

Examples

“Do you want tea?” “Nope.”

میں نے پوچھا کہ وہ تھکا ہوا ہے؟ اس نے کہا، "**نہیں**"۔

I asked if he was tired, and he said, “Nope.”

Is this your bag? Nope, mine is black.

“Did you finish the report?” “Nope, still working on it.”
