거리나 위치상 가장 가까운 것을 나타냅니다. 때때로 시간이나 관계상 가장 가까운 것을 의미할 수도 있습니다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

보통 명사 앞에 와서 'the nearest station', 'the nearest exit'처럼 씁니다. 동사 뒤에도 올 수 있습니다('Which hotel is nearest?'). 'next'와 헷갈리지 않도록 하세요.
