「狭い」とは、幅があまりないことを表します。また、差が小さいことや考えが限られていることも指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

物理的なものによく使います（「狭い道」「狭いドア」など）。勝敗の僅差やギリギリの状況にも使われます。「narrow-minded」は「偏狭な」など別の表現が多いです。「thin（薄い）」とは使い方が異なります。
