Definition

डाक सेवा या इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मेल से कुछ भेजा। यह धातु की कड़ियों या प्लेटों की कवचयुक्त चीज़ का भी वर्णन कर सकता है (जैसे 'बख़्तरबंद मुट्ठी')।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Mailed' अमेरिकी अंग्रेज़ी में डाक भेजने के लिए अधिक आम है; ब्रिटिश अंग्रेज़ी में 'posted' पसंद किया जाता है। ईमेल संदर्भ में 'I mailed it' अनौपचारिक है — 'I emailed it' अधिक स्पष्ट है। कवच वाला अर्थ ('mailed fist') पुरातन/साहित्यिक है।
