他人になりすまして人をだまそうとする人。偽名や偽の身分を使うことが多い。

「詐称者」や「なりすまし」はやや書き言葉的。人の資格や身分を偽るニュアンスが強い。「impostor syndrome」は「インポスター症候群」として定着。「詐欺師」とは少し違う意味。
