Definition

লোকজন বা মিডিয়ায় অত্যধিক প্রচার বা বিজ্ঞাপনের মাধ্যমে কৃত্রিমভাবে তৈরি করা উত্তেজনা বা আগ্রহ। অনেক সময় যা বাস্তবে অতটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বা চিত্তাকর্ষক নয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'media hype', 'just hype', 'believe the hype' ইত্যাদিতে ব্যাপকভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। কথাটি অপ্রয়োজনীয় উত্তেজনা বা বাড়াবাড়ি বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
