Definition

Hortum, su, hava veya başka sıvı ve gazları bir yerden başka bir yere taşımak için kullanılan uzun ve esnek bir borudur. Genellikle bahçe hortumu anlamında kullanılır.

Usage Notes (Turkish)

Genellikle esnek borular için kullanılır: 'garden hose', 'fire hose'. Sert boru ('pipe') ile karıştırmayın. 'Hose down' ifadesi yoğun suyla yıkamak demektir.
