'Hither' एक पुराना शब्द है और आधुनिक बोलचाल में नहीं मिलता, केवल काव्य, नाटक या ऐतिहासिक प्रभाव के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। अक्सर 'thither' (वहाँ) और 'yon/yonder' (वहाँ दूर) के साथ दिखाई देता है।
