「hind」はアカシカや他の大型の雌ジカのことを指します。また、「hind」は物の後ろ側や背面を表すこともあります。

「hind」は名詞で雌ジカを指し、科学、狩猟、文学で使われるフォーマルな言葉です。形容詞では「hind legs」（後ろ足）のようなフレーズで使います。単独で「後ろ」を意味しません。「behind」と混同しないようにしてください。
