एक ही प्रकार के जानवरों के समूह, आमतौर पर बड़े जानवर जैसे गाय, हाथी या भेड़, जो साथ रहते और चलते हैं। 'herds' 'herd' का बहुवचन है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह शब्द ज्यादातर बड़े जानवरों के लिए प्रयोग होता है (जैसे गाय, हाथी)। आम वाक्य: 'herds of cattle', 'herds of elephants'। छोटे जानवरों के लिए नहीं। 'flocks' से न confund करें (पक्षियों/कुछ जगहों पर भेड़ों के लिए)। औपचारिक, लोगों के लिए केवल रूपक में।
