Usage Notes (Japanese)

「聞こえる」は音が自然に聞こえてくる受動的な知覚を表します。「聞く」は情報などを意図的に聞いたり尋ねたりする場合に使います。「I heard that...」は「～と聞きました」「～らしいです」などで表現します。
