हेज़ल एक प्रकार का पेड़ या झाड़ी है, जिससे हेज़लनट्स (अखरोट) मिलते हैं। 'Hazel' शब्द हल्के भूर-हरे आंखों के रंग के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होता है।
Usage Notes (Hindi)
अक्सर आँखों के रंग के लिए ('hazel eyes') इस्तेमाल होता है। पौधे के लिए 'hazel' सिर्फ पेड़/झाड़ी है, नट्स के लिए 'hazelnut' कहा जाता है। रंग के संदर्भ में प्रायः केवल आँखों के लिए सुनेंगे।
