布やネットで作られ、2点（多くは木）に吊るして使う、屋外で横になってくつろぐためのもの。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

リラックスや昼寝など、カジュアルな場面で使われます。「ハンモックを吊るす」「ハンモックで寝る」などの表現あり。子供用ブランコ（ブランコ）とは異なるものです。
