「Goons」とは、しばしば雇われて力を使ったり脅したりする人、主に犯罪目的や用心棒として使われます。また、乱暴だったり頭の悪い人を指す場合もあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「Goons」はカジュアルでやや古風な表現で、犯罪映画や小説でよく使われます。知性よりも力強さを示すことが多いです。「hired goons（雇われごろつき）」「a gang of goons（ごろつきの集団）」などがよく一緒に使われます。敬意ある場面では使いません。
