法律や警察などから逃げている、または隠れている人々のことを指します。多くの場合、犯罪を犯したり、危険から逃れるためです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に複数形（たち／ら）で使用され、法律用語や正式な文脈で使われます。'on the run'や『fugitivesを追う』などの表現とよく一緒に使います。旅行者や動物には使いません。
