Definition

Flushing वह स्थिति है जब चेहरा भावनाओं, गर्मी या किसी कारण से लाल हो जाता है। यह शौचालय आदि को पानी से साफ करने की प्रक्रिया भी है।

'Flushing' चेहरे का लाल होना मेडिकल व रोज़मर्रा की भाषा में आम है। टॉयलेट से संबंधित इसका तात्पर्य टेक्निकल शब्द 'flush' से है। 'Flushing face', 'flushing the toilet' जैसे प्रयोग आम हैं। इसे 'blushing' (शर्माना) से न मिलाएँ।
