Definition
পানি, হাওয়া বা ধোঁয়ার একটি ছোট গোলাকার ঘূর্ণায়মান প্রবাহ, যা মূল প্রবাহের বিপরীত দিকে ঘোরে।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
বিজ্ঞান, সাহিত্য বা বর্ণনামূলক প্রসঙ্গে বেশি ব্যবহার হয়; সাধারণ কথায় কম। 'an eddy of smoke' বা 'eddies in the river' এর মতো শব্দগুচ্ছতে মেলে।
