退屈なものは面白くも興味深くもありません。明るくない色・光や、切れ味が悪い鈍い刃物にも使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「dull movie」は退屈な映画、「dull color/sky」ははっきりしない色・空、「dull knife」は切れ味の悪い包丁。人に使うと無愛想や退屈な印象を与えるので注意。
