Definition

천이나 직물을 무엇 위에 느슨하게 걸치거나 덮어 장식하거나 가리는 것. 천이 자연스럽게 흘러내리는 모양을 나타내기도 함.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 장식적이거나 격식 있는 상황에서 사용됨. 'drape a blanket'처럼 느슨하게 올려두는 의미. 'wrap'처럼 꽉 감싸는 것과 구분됨.
