‘Down’ berarti berada di bawah atau bergerak ke posisi lebih rendah. Juga digunakan untuk menyatakan perasaan sedih atau kondisi tidak berfungsi.

Umum di frasa seperti 'downstairs', 'down the street', 'feeling down', 'server is down'. 'Feeling down' berarti sedih. Jangan bingung dengan 'down in' atau 'down on'.
