تعني 'depths' أعمق أجزاء شيء ما، مثل المحيط أو الغابة أو المشاعر. يمكن استخدامها بمعناها الحرفي (المكان المادي) أو المجازي (العواطف والأفكار).

Usage Notes (Arabic)

تستخدم غالباً بصيغة الجمع 'the depths of...' سواء بالمعنى الحرفي ('the depths of the sea') أو المجازي ('the depths of despair'). غالباً تأتي مع 'the' ونادراً ما تأتي بصيغة المفرد إلا تقنياً.
