'Depths' se refiere a las partes más profundas de algo, como el océano, un bosque o un sentimiento. Puede usarse de manera literal (espacio físico) o figurada (emociones, ideas).

Se usa casi siempre en plural ('the depths of...'), tanto de manera literal ('the depths of the sea') como figurada ('the depths of despair'). Suele llevar 'the' delante. Rara vez se usa en singular, salvo en contextos técnicos.
