人が亡くなる直前に横たわっているベッドを指します。死の間際の最後の時間や瞬間も表現します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

よく『死に際のベッド』『死に際の告白（deathbed confession）』などの表現で使われます。普通の病気や入院の場合のベッドには使いません。死が目前の時に限ります。
