Definition

حالة أو فعل الاستمرار؛ وضع يدوم فيه شيء ما لفترة متواصلة دون انقطاع. كما يشير أيضًا إلى تأجيل قانوني لجلسة محكمة أو جلسة استماع.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

تُستخدم غالبًا في السياقات الرسمية أو القانونية. في القانون، "continuance" يعني تأجيل القضية وليس مجرد الاستمرار. لا تخلط بينها وبين "continuation" (استمرار عادي).
