Bir kişinin özgür iradesiyle bir şeye izin vermesi veya onaylamasıdır. Genellikle hukuki, tıbbi ve kişisel durumlarda kullanılır.

Genellikle hukuk, tıp ve özel durumlarda 'rıza vermek', 'rıza almak', 'rıza olmadan' şeklinde kullanılır; sıradan 'izin'den daha resmî ve vurguludur.
