이미 확인되었거나 증명되어 확실하다고 인정된 것. 주로 예약, 정보, 계획 등에 사용된다.

주로 'is confirmed', 'has been confirmed'처럼 서술적으로 쓰이며, 'confirmed booking', 'confirmed case' 등과 함께 자주 사용된다. 어떤 정체성이 굳어진 경우에 쓰일 수도 있으나 드물다.
