কাউকে নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে আবদ্ধ বা বাইরে যেতে বাধা দেওয়ার অবস্থা, যেমন কারাগার, লকডাউন বা অন্য কোনো ধরনের সীমাবদ্ধতা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

প্রায়শই আইনগত, চিকিৎসা বা সামাজিক ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'house confinement', 'period of confinement', 'solitary confinement' ইত্যাদি বাক্যে ব্যবহার হয়। সাধারণত অনানুষ্ঠানিক কথোপকথনে ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
