Definition

'Compare' এর অতীত বা অতীত অংশ, যার মানে হচ্ছে দুটি বা ততোধিক জিনিসের মধ্যে পার্থক্য বা সাদৃশ্য খুঁজে দেখা। প্রায়ই 'compared to' বা 'compared with' এর মতো বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সর্বাধিক ব্যবহৃত হয় 'compared to' বা 'compared with' বাক্যের মধ্যে। 'Compared with' সাধারণ তুলনায় বেশি নিরপেক্ষ শোনায়, আর 'compared to' কিছুটা রূপক হতে পারে। 'The two products were compared' মানে হলো পণ্যদুটিকে তুলনা করা হয়েছিল।
