Definition

昏睡（こんすい）は、意識がなく深い眠りのような状態が続き、外部の刺激に反応しない状態です。重い病気や脳の損傷が原因です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

医学用語で深刻な状態を指します。「コーマ状態」「昏睡状態」「コーマから目覚める」などの表現があります。普通の眠りや句読点の「，」とは区別して使います。
