코트층(겹)

Definition

코트는 추위를 막기 위해 겉에 입는 옷을 의미합니다. 또한 표면에 덮는 한 겹(예: 페인트의 한 겹)을 뜻하기도 합니다.

일반적으로 두껍고 따뜻한 외투를 의미하며 'jacket'은 더 짧고 가볍습니다. 'winter coat', 'raincoat', 'a coat of paint'(페인트의 한 겹)와 같은 표현에서 자주 사용됩니다.

The kids put on their coats before going outside.

아이들은 밖에 나가기 전에 **코트**를 입었다.
