Definition

‘Boards’ বলতে সমতল কাঠ বা অন্য কোনো বস্তু, লেখার জন্য ব্যবহৃত বোর্ড অথবা সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণকারী গোষ্ঠী বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

বিভিন্ন প্রসঙ্গে ভিন্ন অর্থ হয়, যেমন 'notice boards' হল বিজ্ঞপ্তি বোর্ড, 'boards of directors' মানে পরিচালনা পরিষদ। 'bored' (অপছন্দ) শব্দটির সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
