Definition

어떤 것이나 사람에게 마음을 집중하거나 신경을 쓰는 것. 무언가를 주의 깊게 보는 것도 포함된다.

일상 및 공식적인 상황 모두에서 사용. 'pay attention'은 주의를 기울이라는 뜻. 군대에서 'Attention!'은 군인들에게 자세를 바로 하라는 명령.

Please pay attention in class.

He gave his full attention to the game.
