شعور بالخوف أو القلق من حدوث شيء ما؛ وأيضاً يُستخدم في معنى القبض على شخص (أقل شيوعاً).

Usage Notes (Arabic)

'Apprehension' أكثر رسمية من 'worry' أو 'anxiety' وغالباً ما يدل على خوف مستقبلي عام. تُستخدم تعبيرات مثل: 'with apprehension', 'feel apprehension about'. المعنى الثاني (القبض) نادر ورسمـي.
