Definition

정해진 시간에 누군가를 만나기로 한 약속. 또한 누군가를 직위에 임명하는 뜻도 있음.

‘doctor's appointments’, ‘schedule appointments’와 같이 자주 씀. 단수는 임명(직책) 의미도 있음. ‘meeting’은 더 포괄적.

I have two appointments today: one with the dentist and one at work.

오늘은 **약속**이 두 개 있어요. 하나는 치과에서, 하나는 직장입니다.
