“appointments” in Spanish
Definition
Acuerdos para reunirse o visitar a alguien a una hora concreta, generalmente por motivos de negocios, médicos u oficiales. También puede referirse al acto de asignar a alguien a un cargo o puesto.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa comúnmente para reuniones médicas, de negocios o personales ('cita médica', 'pedir una cita'). 'Appointment' también puede ser ocupar un cargo ('su nombramiento como gerente'). No confundir con 'meeting', que es más general.
