Definition

किसी चीज़ को बेहतर समझने के लिए उसका ध्यान से अध्ययन करना analysis कहलाता है, जिसमें उसके हिस्सों, कारणों या अर्थ की जाँच की जाती है। यह शब्द विज्ञान, व्यापार, डेटा, साहित्य और समस्या-समाधान में बहुत इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

सामान्य प्रयोग में यह अक्सर अगणनीय होता है: 'data analysis' या 'market analysis'। लेकिन अलग-अलग कामों के लिए इसका बहुवचन आता है: 'The report includes three analyses.' आम संयोजन हैं 'in-depth analysis', 'financial analysis', 'statistical analysis' और 'text analysis'। इसे 'summary' से न मिलाएँ: analysis में समझाना या व्याख्या करना शामिल होता है, जबकि summary सिर्फ मुख्य बिंदु बताती है।
