布や素材などが、長期間使われたり擦れたりして穴があくこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に靴下や服、カーペットのような布製品の部分が擦れすぎて穴があく時に使う。「履く」「着る」とは違い、自然な消耗を指す。
