पानी, कीचड़ या बर्फ जैसी उथली चीज़ के बीच से धीमे-धीमे चलना, अक्सर थोड़ी मेहनत से।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

आमतौर पर उथले पानी या कीचड़ में धीरे और मशक्कत से चलने के लिए 'wades' का उपयोग होता है। गहरे पानी के लिए नहीं। कभी-कभी सोच-विचार या काम में फँसने के लिए भी बोला जाता है ('wade through paperwork')।
