고자질하다이르다

Definition

누군가의 잘못이나 비밀을 선생님이나 부모님 같은 권위자에게 알리는 것. 주로 아이들 사이에서 쓰임.

'고자질하다', '이르다'는 주로 아이들이 쓰는 비공식적 표현이고, 'Don't tell on me!'는 '나 좀 이르지 마!'로 쓴다. 어른들은 '신고하다' 등을 씀.

Please don't tell on me to the teacher.

제발 선생님께 나를 **고자질하지** 마.

He told on his friend for breaking the window.
