Originalmente del golf, significa colocar la bola en el tee antes de golpearla. En sentido figurado, significa preparar algo cuidadosamente para que esté listo para empezar o suceder.

'Tee up' es informal y muy usado en negocios, deportes y conversaciones. Puede ser literal (golf) o figurado (preparar una reunión, oportunidad o pregunta). Se usa antes de iniciar algo. No confundir con 'set up' (organizar) o 'line up' (formar en fila).
