Definition

পুরোপুরি মৃত, জীবনের কোনো চিহ্ন নেই। সাধারণত জোরালোভাবে বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

অনানুষ্ঠানিক এবং জোরালো। কথ্য ভাষা বা নাটকীয় বিবরণে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'stone dead' বলতে শোনা যায়, 'dead stone' নয়। কখনও কখনও জীবিত নয় এমন যন্ত্রপাতি বা জিনিসের জন্যও ব্যবহৃত হয়।
