監視する見張る

Definition

誰かが作業している様子を非常に近くで見張ったり監視したりすること。多くは相手をコントロールしようとする意図がある。

相手にプレッシャーや窮屈さを与える時によく使う。職場や親子の場面で多い。単に立っていることとは違う。

The teacher stood over the student while he did his homework.

先生が生徒の宿題中ずっと**見張っていた**。
