"stand aside" in Bengali

Definition

কারও পথ ছেড়ে পাশে দাঁড়ানো, অথবা কোনো দায়িত্ব বা বিষয় থেকে নিজেকে সরিয়ে নেওয়া।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

শারীরিকভাবে পাশে সরে দাঁড়াতে বা দায়িত্ব থেকে নিজেকে আলাদা করতে ব্যবহার হয়। অনানুষ্ঠানিক। নির্দেশে বা পদত্যাগের ক্ষেত্রে ('stand aside as manager') বলা হয়। 'stand by' মানে আলাদা।
