Definition

スプールは、糸やワイヤー、フィルムなどの細長いものを巻きつけて保存や使用するための円筒状のものです。裁縫糸やケーブルなどによく使われます。

主に糸やフィルムなどを巻く円筒の道具を指します。'リール' という言葉と混同されることがありますが、スプールは主に糸やワイヤー用です。
