갑자기 몸이나 머리를 빠르게 돌려 반대 방향을 바라보는 것. 주로 뒤에서 무슨 일이 생겼을 때 사용함.

'갑자기 돌다'는 놀라거나 뒤에서 소리가 날 때 급하게 몸을 돌릴 때 쓰임. 천천히 움직이는 동작과 구분해야 함.
