ふるい

Definition

ふるいは、細かい網や穴のあいた道具で、細かいものと粗いものを分けるために料理や実験で使います。

料理の小麦粉ふるいや研究のサンプル分けなどによく使います。「memory like a sieve（物忘れが激しい）」のような比喩表現もあります。「ストレーナー」とは用途が異なります。
