Definition

누군가나 무언가에게 다가가거나 공격하는 것. 사람이나 동물을 공격하라고 보낼 때도 사용함. 장소나 목표에 다가갈 때도 씀.

Usage Notes (Korean)

다소 격식적, 문어적인 표현. 일상회화에서는 거의 쓰이지 않고, 동물일 때 많이 씀 ('set the dog onto...'). 'set out to'나 'set on'과 혼동 금지.
