그슬리다태우다 (겉만)

Definition

강한 열이나 불에 의해 겉만 약간 타거나 그슬려 색이 변하는 것. 완전히 타지 않음.

보통 겉면만 타거나 색이 변할 때 사용. '옷이 그슬리다', '햇볕에 식물이 그슬리다' 등으로 자주 쓰임. 비유적으로도 사용됨.

Be careful not to scorch your shirt with the iron.

다리미로 셔츠가 **그슬리지** 않게 조심해.
