뒤지다샅샅이 찾다

Definition

무언가를 찾으려고 물건을 어지럽게 뒤지는 것. 주로 손으로 한다.

'Root about'는 비격식 표현으로 'in', 'through'와 자주 함께 쓰이며 어수선한 곳을 손으로 뒤지는 뜻. 'rummage'와 비슷하다.

She rooted about in her bag for her keys.
